Corona's Jestinah Solomua rallied from an early deficit to defeat Rebecca Juarez of Covina Northview in a 194-pound bout in the CIF Div. 1 dual meet wrestling championships at Northview Tuesday. Corona was trailing, 27-3 when Solomua's win turned the tide as Corona closed the gap to 27-18, and later to 33-27. But the Vikings pulled away to a 39-27 win. The 2 schools have competed for the D1 championship all 4 years of the tournament. It was the third consecutive title for Northview after Corona won the initial championship in 2021. The first regional flag football all-star game, combined star athletes from Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, splitting them into non-county specific squads, Team Bolts and Team All-Stars.
