CORONA (CNS) – The death of a 40-year-old man in the unincorporated part of Corona was under investigation Sunday by Riverside County sheriff’s detectives.
Deputies dispatched at 1:34 a.m. Sunday to a fight at a business in the 9000 block of Pulsar Court found an off-duty paramedic and firefighter working to save the life of a man later identified as Rene Nieves of Corona, according to Riverside County Sheriff‘s Office Sgt. Mike Kelleher.
Nieves was pronounced dead at the scene, Kelleher said.
