Ramona Expressway
The Ramona Expressway Pavement Rehabilitation Project has officially broken ground.
The $8,000,000 project will rehabilitate more than four miles of pavement along the expressway between Webster Avenue and Rider Street. A dedicated right-turn pocket will also be installed for eastbound traffic traveling towards Avalon Parkway.
“This project is incredibly important for one of our busiest streets with a high traffic flow, and will come as a benefit to both commuters and residents alike,” said City Manager Clara Miramontes. ““We know Ramona Expressway is an important part of our city gateway, and we are excited to begin this project to improve our infrastructure and city roads in this highly traveled part of the city.”
The Project will be completed in the following 4 phases starting at the eastern end of Ramona Expressway:
• Phase I -From Bradley Road to Rider Street
• Phase 2-From Center Street to Bradley Road
• Phase 3 – From Perris Boulevard to Center Street
• Phase 4-From Webster Avenue to Perris Boulevard
