Quake Rattles Indio
INDIO HILLS (CNS) – A magnitude 3.2 earthquake struck near Indio Hills in Riverside County Wednesday at 4:23 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
It was centered 7 miles southeast of Indio Hills and 7.2 miles northeast of Indio.
It was about 1.5 miles deep.
The quake was 8 miles northeast of Coachella and 13.9 miles northeast of La Quinta.
There were no reports of injuries or damage.
