Kale Chips
By Connor Forbes
Kale is one of those foods you are supposed to work into your diet for the health benefits. But I have an interesting relationship with kale. And by interesting, I mean I don’t love it. But as we have well established, I love chips. By tricking my mind into thinking I’m eating something I love and sneaking in something that is healthy, I win. Right? I’m going to say yes. And move on. Let’s make Kale Chips!
Ingredients
· Head of kale
· Tbsp olive oil
· 3 garlic cloves chopped
· Tsp of salt
To Make
Preheat oven to 425°. Separate the kale leaves, was, and dry. In a bowl combine the kale, garlic, salt, and oil and use your hands to mix. You want the kale equally coated in oil. Lay out the kale on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until kale is crisp. Remove from oven and EAT!
