David Sanabria
RIVERSIDE (CNS) – A 31-year-old man suspected of attending churches where children were present despite a bond requirement connected with an earlier arrest that he not be in the vicinity of youths was behind bars Friday.
David Sanabria of Perris was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Jail in Riverside Thursday on suspicion of bail bond violations.
Sanabria was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail and may make a court appearance Monday at the Riverside Hall of Justice.
According to Riverside County sheriff’s Investigator David Schell, Sanabria was first booked into custody last November following an investigation that uncovered instances in which he had allegedly sent pornography to minors.
The suspect was arrested at that time on suspicion of possession of child porn, soliciting a minor for sexual content, contributing to the sexual exploitation of a minor and attempted lewd acts on a person under 14 years old.
He posted bail, but one of the judge’s stipulations for release was that he remain clear of any places where children may gather, Schell said.
“Investigators … received information (earlier this month) that Sanabria had been attending several churches in Riverside County (and was) around and with children in violation of his bail terms,” the sheriff’s spokesman said.
There was no allegation that a child had been contacted for illicit reasons or otherwise harmed.
The suspect was located and taken into custody without incident on Serran Road Thursday afternoon.
Background information beyond his previous arrest was unavailable.
