Men with Gunshot Wounds

PERRIS (CNS) – Perris Sheriff‘s Station deputies continued to look for suspects Thursday after locating two men with gunshot wounds, one of whom died at the scene.

The deputies arrived at the 600 block of Indian Hills Circle in Perris shortly before 3:15 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a report of an assault with a deadly weapon, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department statement.

They attempted to deliver medical assistance, but one of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the statement. His identity was not immediately disclosed. The other was transported to a local hospital, believed to be in critical condition.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Central Homicide Unit assumed the investigation, with investigations still trying to identify potential suspects. The dead man’s name was not publicly released.
