Festival of Trees Holiday Fair
RIVERSIDE (CNS) – The Festival of Trees Holiday Fair is scheduled to begin this weekend in Riverside, the Riverside University Health System Foundation announced Monday.
The free-admission fair, which benefits the RUHSF, will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Riverside Convention Center, 3637 Fifth St.
More than 40 vendors are expected to attend, selling items such as jewelry, leather goods and holiday decor. Holiday snacks will also be available and nearly 60 uniquely adorned holiday trees will be on display.
The fair also includes activities for kids, including holiday crafts, face painting and photos with Santa.
“We’re so excited to bring this wonderful event to the public for another year,” said foundation Senior Director of Development Corinne Awad.
“The fair not only helps the Foundation support some of the county’s most vulnerable patients, but also gives visitors the chance to make wonderful holiday memories,” Awad said.
The Festival of Trees has raised funds for the Foundation for 35 years, supporting such areas as the RUHS Medical Center’s Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units and behavioral health programs.
More than 5,000 people are expected to attend this year, according to RUHS officials.
Reservations are not required to enter the event.
