Sewer Line
MEAD VALLEY (CNS) – Motorists in the unincorporated Mead Valley area are being warned to use caution as the Eastern Municipal Water District builds a new sewer line beginning this month.
Construction of the Cajalco Corridor Sewer project will take place in early January on Cajalco Road.
During the first phase of the project, working hours on Cajalco Road will be between 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to minimize traffic impacts and alternate lanes will be used to accommodate traffic flows, officials said.
The Cajalco Corridor Sewer project includes 11,500 feet of sewer between Carpinus Drive and Carroll Street, and is anticipated to be completed by summer 2026, the water department said.
The project was funded in part by the American Rescue Plan Act, courtesy of Riverside County.
