Palm Springs Tramway
PALM SPRINGS (CNS) – The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will remain closed until further notice because of unforeseen technical problems.
The closure began Friday due to issues with the tram’s electronic system.
“The replacement part has been located but a shipment date has not yet been provided. The part is a motor contactor that supplies power from the tram drive to the tram motor,” Tramway Systems Vice President Chris Bartsch said in a statement.
An exact reopening date has not been determined.
