Frightening Fall Festivities
It’s the time of the year when the air gets crisp and spookiness drifts through the air. Leaves litter the ground, jack o’ lanterns grin at passerby, and sugar skulls honor those we’ve lost. Fall has arrived, ushering in a season full of celebration.
Here are 12 frightful fall events throughout the Inland Empire.
Perris
Coffin Creek
Dare to check into the haunted asylum, pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, and learn about the missing coffins of Coffin Creek. Not recommended for children 12 and under.

Riverside
Castle Park Dark
Experience the new evil king’s reign of terror in the castle with three haunted, inescapable mazes and three scare zones that will make you feel like you’re stepping into your worst nightmare. Not for kids 13 and under. Or visit the Dia de los Muertos event, which spans the fall season.
When: Sep. 19- Nov. 2; Dia de los Muertos is on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m., and Castle Dark is open Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Halloween Ghost Hunt
Riverside is haunted! Grab your loved ones or close friends to uncover hidden secrets in escape rooms and investigate secrets in scavenger hunts that will take you all over the city — costumes are recommended! Children 14 and younger must be with an adult — not recommended to go alone. . .

Storm Halloween Festival and Marketplace
Check out local vendors, ride mechanical carnival rides, and awaken the darkness within by watching performances that would delight spirits of the night.

Paranormal Cirque II

Dia de los Muertos Celebration
Come together to celebrate and remember loved ones who have passed on through music, food vendors, plus a low-rider car show — and a dusk Catrina Procession.
