Take a Hike

By Mia Rotell

Attention Perris residents! Put on sunscreen, lace up your shoes, and grab a water bottle because Live Well Perris’ next community-wide hike is on Saturday, Nov. 15. The upcoming event is part of the “Take a Hike” series Perris puts on during cool seasons.

The hike is 4 miles long around Terri Peak, and is kid-friendly, but remember each child has their own level of ability. Water will be available for participants at the beginning and end, when a raffle with various prizes will begin.

Check-in and raffle sign-ups are at 8 a.m., and the hike will commence at 8:30 a.m — it will last about an hour to an hour and a half.

“It’s a great opportunity to get out in the outdoors,” City of Perris Public Information Officer Stephen Hale said. “(We’re) Excited to get our community out for a great afternoon.”
