Hillcrest players Ray Causey (13) and Justin Escalante (77) are amongst players providing the celebratory dousing of Head Coach Travis Carter (center) after the Trojans defeated the Tahquitz Titans 63 – 34 in the CIF Division 10 Title game. The football program, which began with a freshman squad upon the school’s opening in 2012, captured its first CIF football championship.

The pass fell incomplete as Dash Fifita (0) rushes Catalano. The Eagles captured the Open Division crown 42 – 7. Both of the Huskies’ losses this year were inflicted by Santa Margarita; the regular-season contest went to overtime.
