NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS (BIDS) PUBLIC NOTICE
The CITY OF PERRIS invites online bids on Planet Bids, until 5:00 P.M. (PDT), on October 08, 2026, for Perris High School Crossings Traffic Signal Project (CIP T033). The work to be done consists of furnishing all labor, materials, the installation of two traffic signals includes but is not limited to, the installation of new traffic signal poles and other related traffic signal equipment, electrical pedestals and other related electrical equipment, signage and striping, video detection installation, ADA curb ramps, cross gutters and spandrels, relocation of an RTA bus stop, asphalt concrete paving, equipment, tools, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents. Clean up, leave in an operable and acceptable condition all the work and other items not mentioned that are required by the Plans and Specifications.
BID PROPOSALS
In order to be considered in the selection process, interested parties shall submit their Proposals online up to the time mentioned above. Late proposals will not be accepted.
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
The plans and specifications are available online to download through the Planet Bids website which can also be accessed through the City of Perris website: (http://www.cityofperris.org/cityhall/bids.html). All bidders must be registered with Planet Bids to download the Plans, Specifications, and other contract documents. All Bidders will be required to hold their original bid prices, without change, for a period of forty‐five (45) days from the date bids are opened, except to the extent relief is available pursuant to Public Contract Code, Section 5100 et. seq.
COMLETION OF WORK
Upon execution of the Contract, a written “Notice to Proceed” will be issued for the procurement of equipment. The procurement period shall be up to a maximum of 180 calendar days. The product submittals shall be submitted within 14 working days from the date of the “Notice to Proceed with Procurement”. Upon receiving confirmation of the scheduled delivery date of the equipment from the Contractor, a “Notice to Proceed with Construction” will be issued 30 calendar days before the scheduled arrival of the equipment on site or by June 1st, 2027. The work shall commence within 14 calendar days after the date set forth in the “Notice to Proceed with Construction” or prior to June 14th, 2027. Total duration of the construction period is sixty working days from the date of the written “Notice to Proceed with Construction”.
INQUIRIES/ADDENDA
The last day to submit technical inquiries shall be October 01, 2026, by 5:00 P.M. (PDT). All inquiries shall be submitted through Planet Bids. The CITY OF PERRIS invites online bids via PlanetBids, until 2:00 PM (PST), on September 25, 2026, for the Annual OnCall Sidewalk Repair and Maintenance Services Program. The project consists of providing annual oncall sidewalk repair, ADA accessibility improvements, and miscellaneous concrete maintenance services, including sidewalks, curb ramps, curbs, gutters, and related pedestrian infrastructure throughout the City of Perris.
In order to be considered in the selection process, interested parties shall submit their Proposals online via PlanetBids up to the time mentioned above. Late proposals will not be accepted.
The plans and specifications are available online to download through the PlanetBids website which can also be accessed through the City of Perris website: https://www.cityofperris.org/ourcity/cityhall/bidsrfps. All Bidders will be required to hold their original bid prices, without change, for a period of forty‐five (45) days from the date bids are opened, except to the extent relief is available pursuant to Public Contract Code, Section 5100 et. seq.
The successful bidder will be required to provide oncall sidewalk maintenance services as needed, beginning November 23, 2026. Work will be assigned on an asneeded basis by the City, and the contractor shall respond and complete tasks within mutually agreed timelines appropriate to the nature and urgency of each service request. Award of Contract is expected on October 13, 2026.
The last day to submit technical inquiries shall be September 17, 2026, by 2:00 PM (PST). All inquiries shall be submitted through PlanetBids.
