Corona Holiday Lighting Ceremony

Hop aboard the train, make and chuck a snowball, then grab a bite and soak in the local entertainment. All that and more will be on the docket this Sunday, as the City of Corona hosts its annual holiday lighting ceremony

The opening Santa bell rings a 4 pm on the front lawn of the Corona Civic Center and continues for the next three hours until 7 pm.

Speaking of which, that Santa fella will be posing for personal photos and accepting Dear Santa letters.

The full family event also includes activities for all, arts and crafts, enjoyed in the backdrop of local entertainers performing onstage.  Get a jump on shopping at the artisan market for unique and handmade holiday gifts.

And then kick back and indulge in good eats crafted by gourmet food vendors.

In the spirit of the day, you are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for the Corona Fire Department’s, “Spark of Love” toy drive.

The highlight of the evening will be the traditional ceremonial lighting of the Historic Civic Center campus to launch the holiday season in Corona.
