PERRIS – A highlight of the “Live Well Perris” campaign which launched in 2013, the City of Perris’ annual Health Fair takes place this Saturday on the Perris City Hall campus.

Interrupted only by the pandemic, this is the 10th spring event, gathering local families to “check-up” on their health and glean the latest information on promoting a healthy diet, physical fitness programs, and activities.

Designed for the full family, the fair is a day filled with prizes, live music and entertainment, kid fun, fitness demos and health screenings. In addition to bicycles, other giveaways include a variety of fitness and health-improvement devices.

The 5K Color Fun Run will start at San Jacinto Avenue and Perris Boulevard and make its way past the Perris Valley Cemetery and Skydive Baseball Park.

Check-in and walk-up registration is from 6:30 – 7:30 am. The “Tot Trot” for 5-year-olds and younger starts at 7:45 am, while the 5K race begins at 8 am. You can pre-register at the CivicRec portal of the city’s website. Pre-registration cost is $7 for youth and $9 for adults before Noon today, Friday, April 19th. Saturday registration will be $10.
