Holding the top seed in D1 softball, Norco’s offense has been hammering away, with a 9-5 home victory over Cerritos Gahr, followed by an 8-1 road win over Riverside Poly on Tuesday. The Cougars hosted Murrieta Mesa in a semi-final showdown on Thursday. In Division 4, Santiago also lit up the scoreboard with a 15-4 thumping of Hesperia Oak Hills, followed by a pitching duel in a 2-1 win over San Bernardino Cajon.
