Come Early to Join the 5K Color Fun Run
Perris Health Fair
PERRIS – The City of Perris “Live Well Perris” program hosts the 9th annual Perris Health Fair tomorrow morning at the city hall campus on N. D Street.
Among the benefits available will be vendors providing health screenings, blood pressure and blood sugar checks, COVID-19 vaccinations, fitness demonstrations and chiropractor services.
Live music and games for children will entertain, while bicycles, fitness and health-improvement devices will be awarded as prizes.
The Perris 5K Color Fun Run kicks-off the day’s activities with walk-up registration available from 6:30 – 7:30 a.m. The fee is $10 and the run begins at 8 a.m.
The fair is a component of the Live Well Perris campaign, a city-wide initiative created in 2013, with the stated goal of inspiring healthier lifestyles in the community by promoting physical wellness and healthy diet and nutrition. This includes fitness programs and re-imagining neighborhoods with upgraded parks and facilities.
Following the 5K run, Saturday’s fair will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
