PERRIS – Joining hundreds of skydiving facilities around the globe, Skydive Perris at Perris Airport is participating in the first World Skydiving Day this Saturday, an attempt to set a record for the most skydives in a single day.

Organized by the U.S. Parachute Association (USPA) and sister organizations in Canada, Great Britain, and Australia, the event is open to experienced jumpers and first-time tandem daredevils, ready to take the leap out of a perfectly good airplane from 12,500 feet.

We invite you to experience this adventure of a lifetime—it’s not just for adrenaline junkies or a distant dream on your bucket list,” USPA Executive Director Albert Berchtold said. “This day is about more than just the thrill of the jump. It represents a global community coming together to share in the sport of skydiving, which inspires and unites us, from novices to professional skydivers.”

The event will be all day this Saturday, beginning at 8 am.
