Eva Perez, a dual immersion language teacher at Corona High School, performs the ceremonial coin flip before Corona football hosted Pasadena Maranatha last week. The game was dedicated to childhood cancer victims and their families. Perez initiated the event. Families of cancer victims and survivors took part in pre-game ceremonies, wearing orange shirts while Corona players sported orange socks.
