Riverside County Spelling Bee
MENIFEE – A fifth-grade student from the Menifee Union School District will represent the district in the Riverside County Spelling Bee in March, the MUSD announced.
Elijah Decano won Thursday’s 2024 District Spelling Bee at Evans Ranch Elementary School.
Thirty-eight students participated in the competition, navigating 10 challenging rounds and spelling 102 words, according to the MUSD.
Elijah will move on to represent the district at the upcoming Riverside County Spelling Bee scheduled for March 28, 2024.
Karla Carapia from Menifee Valley Middle School was the second-place winner.
